| Our History |
| Wolverton Garden and Pet Supply was established in 1940 as a retail outlet for garden and pet supplies by Mayo Wolverton.
In 1951, in conjunction with its retail outlet, the company started to wholesale garden and pet supplies to other retailers in Lansing, Michigan, and surrounding areas. In 1965, the Company was purchased by Leonard Parks and Donald Rinckey, and Wolverton, Inc. was formed. At this time, the retail outlet was closed and the garden supplies were discontinued. This gave Wolverton the opportunity to devote its full attention to wholesaling pet and veterinary supplies. Wolverton has since added two facilities in Louisville, KY and Brunswick, OH, and distributes to the entire state of Michigan as well as Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, West Virginia and western Pennsylvania.Wolverton is a service-oriented company stressing high quality products for its customers, with great emphasis on customer service. With these goals in mind, we are confident about our continued growth and leadership position in the pet industry. |

| Wolverton is the idea source for all your pet product needs. We have more than 14,000 items from over 300 suppliers for all categories of pets. Our customer base consists of kennels, veterinarian clinics, independent pet stores, and large chain and mass accounts. |
| Warehouse Operations |
| Wolverton's warehouse is run with a fully computer driven warehousing system. We are committed to being accurate in the products we ship with programs in place to help us do so. All stocked inventory is computer controlled with a real time balance on hand. All orders are electronic scanned and picked from our warehouse to reduce pulling errors and mis selects. With this top technology in place, we are able to achieve a combined 98%shipping percentage to our customers. Wolverton is considered an assumed-receipt vendor with many of our valued customers. |
| Transportation |
| Wolverton supplies custom-packed orders delivered direct to your store or distribution center. Our fleet consists of 50 trucks which deliver to our customers five days a week from our three facilities. Our friendly drivers are some of the best in the industry, and they pride themselves on their accurate and timely deliveries. |
| Sales and Customer Service |
| Our sales teams consist of inside and outside representatives who offer service both over the phone and in person. Our friendly inside staff will assist you with placing orders or answering any questions. We have outside sales representatives covering the entire distribution territory. They will be happy to work on a one on one basis and give you the personal attention needed to help build your business. Everything from helping with weekly orders to merchandising in your store, our reps are able to assist our customers in all areas. |

| Wolverton is one of the leaders in electronic transmission technology, giving you the most comprehensive choices in ordering and product information. Wolverton accepts orders from various electronic equipment including point of sales systems, all in one scanners, EDI transmissions, and direct linkage through our website to process online orders. Order confirmations can be sent automatically to ensure your order has been received in our database. You can also receive electronic invoices to notify you of product that has been shipped.
